L. Ron Hubbard's Listen-And-Learn Program

Students are using the Listen-and-Learn program that utilizes the Stories from the Golden Age by L. Ron Hubbard to improve their vocabulary and their reading and pronunciation skills. Here is what Nicki says about the books and audiobooks in the Stories from the Golden Age series:

"The greatest thing about the stories is the ACTION! Even in ones I would not have expected. They are great! The Stories from the Golden Age have also helped improve my reading level. At first I was just listening to the audiobooks and then I started the Listen-and-Learn program where I listen to the audiobook while reading the paperback. I can see what the right words are and how they are pronounced. I get the words now and my reading and vocabulary are improving dramatically. I probably jumped a couple reading levels just by reading the books while listening to them!

I really like all of them, but I think my favorite genres are science fiction and then western. I count them for school work, but I really read them for fun!"
